Tributes Continue for Rob and Michele Reiner as Autopsy Reports Remain Under Wraps.

More than two weeks after the tragic deaths of renowned film director Rob Reiner and his partner, photographer Michele Reiner, peers and loved ones persist in remembering the duo.

‘Life is Pain Without You’: Cary Elwes Pays Tribute to His Director

Sharing on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who starred in Reiner's 1987 classic *The Princess Bride*, explained he just recently felt ready to share openly about his personal sorrow.

"Sufficient time has passed that I can now put my grief into words," posted Elwes, saying that his initial encounter with Reiner left him smitten. "Once we started passing more hours together I knew this was someone I longed to have in my life."

The actor shared archival material from the movie, adding that he cannot recall "one day without laughter".

"The film is about devotion, fidelity and selflessness. Principles that Rob valued immensely. Which is among the many reasons he was the ideal person to helm it," Elwes wrote.

He went on to praise Michele Reiner, stating: "Claiming that they were a great team would be an understatement. My heart still pangs every time I think of you." He ended with a quote from *The Princess Bride*: "Sure, death cannot stop true love but life is pain without you."

Martin Scorsese Recalls a Colleague and Comrade

In a distinct piece, legendary director Martin Scorsese also honored Reiner, whom he first met in the 1970s.

"Right away, I loved hanging out with Rob. We had a natural affinity for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes bitingly funny, but he was never the kind of guy who would command the room," Scorsese said.

Scorsese pointed out Reiner's cameo appearance in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, embodying the father of the lead role.

"His improvisation skills with the best. He was a master at comedy, he worked seamlessly with his co-stars, and he comprehended the personal struggle of his character," Scorsese wrote.

Court Proceedings: Autopsy Reports Withheld

Recently, a Los Angeles superior court judge decided to bar the publication of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, at the request from the LAPD.

A court order put a security hold on the investigation to restrict the public release of "all case details, notes, reports or photos" pertaining to the ongoing investigation.

The relevant authority had already determined their deaths were the outcome of murder, with a official listing citing the cause as "injuries from a sharp object".

After the tragedy, public figures expressed varying responses.

Ex-President Donald Trump posted on the matter, making divisive statements that were widely condemned by several individuals.

Podcaster Joe Rogan contributed his perspective to the those speaking out recently. Talking on his podcast, Rogan described the remarks as "disturbing" and implied they revealed a worrisome deficiency of sympathy.
