The Covent Garden Hotel's Sake Martini – Recipe
To try something unique, sample this refined martini-inspired drink. It is delicate, fragrant and easy to sip, and pairs nicely with a few chunks of parmesan.
Sake Martini
Yields one serving
30ml gin – opt for a crisp gin variety
15ml Lillet Blanc – an aromatic French aperitif wine
15ml sake – a light, medium-bodied one, ideally
Pour the gin, Lillet Blanc, and sake into a shaker, include a generous scoop of ice and stir thoroughly for 30 seconds to cool. Filter into a pre-chilled martini glass and present.
